So I went on a crazy CL adventure to burn half a tank of gas and have a lunch outside of the norm. GF and I drove about 2 hours to go look at a toolbox and ended up coming home with it. As best I can tell its a little older Matco MB1320G. I ended up getting it for $450 + tax. Its far from pristine but I try to not be a tool polisher anyway. It has 1 drawer that needs new slides now and 2 more that will probably need them soon. Does Matco warranty out their slides? While it has a few dents and scratches, it seems like a heck of a box for the price and its bigger than I will need for a while anyway!

I started to clean it up, I got the stickers off of it and the CAT emblem. I need a handle for one end and to straighten the other one, its a little tweaked. I was going to get pics but I was forced to close up shop with a haste when the frozen white precipitation started falling.

Stopped by a couple pawn shops and picked up a handful of new goodies while in Longmont too.

I like it! You should have sent me a note and we could have gone and checked it out, just 'up the street' from me (compared to you anyhow). Sweet deal!

Did you save the cat emblem? If you wanna get rid of it, PM me. As far as warranty on the rails, I dont see why they wouldnt warranty them for you. $450 seems like a good deal to me!

Looks good. Clean that thing up, remove all those crappy stickers, then post more pics when you have it filled with tool goodness.

Stickers are off, Cat emblem too, it may or may not be up for grabs, I haven't made up my mind yet. Previous owner glued that thing on with red RTV, and I am having all kinds of fun getting that off! I tried emailing Matco today about the slides with no response. A little more clean up and then the tools get moved over!

Here's the pics from the ad. I haven't done any other work on it since the stickers came off. Helped my buddy move his girlfriend this evening. I am really thinking about getting the bumper sticker that says "Yes this is my truck, no I won't help you move!"
