I didn't see any other more appropriate place to let yall know who I am, so here goes:
I'm 33, and live in Mesquite, TX ('burb of Dallas). I drive my 52 Chevy 2dr Sedan 60 miles round trip every day to where I work as a Creative Director in Kaufman, TX. Got a great wife and a car-crazed 5yo son, and a 7mo daughter.
When we moved to TX about 4yrs ago, I bought a 24x24 garage that came with a 3 br house. It's the first time I've had my own place to work on my car, and I'm pretty proud of it! Certainly don't have all the shop equipment I wish I had... but I'm getting there. I do have a decent air compressor and basic air tools, a MIG welder and a bunch of hand tools. Saving up for a drill press now.... then a sheet metal brake.
I learned most of what I know about cars and tools from my Dad, and I'm still learning... so I guess that's why I'm here!
Oh, yeah. I came from the HAMB, too.
