Quick update on my first purchase from DRPD. I had the order in hand 2 days after placing it. Packaging was A+ and I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for the free stickers too!!! Looking forward to my next order.

Now, about that wish list request. 😁

@billspreston Is it feasible to add a wish list feature to your DRPD account? I tend to buy what I need when I need it and save the fun stuff for the sales.
We have tried to implement a wish list, but unfortunately our shop software does not properly save product variants – an example of this is something like a Ko-ken 3400MZ sockets that is offered in multiple different sizes. The software will save the 3400MZ product to the wish list, but it does not save the selected size variant. This saving issue is a known bug, but I'm not sure when it will be resolved. This is a high priority for us, but we are at the mercy of waiting for a fix to come from our shop software (which we really like, otherwise).
Just saw this on Tools of Japan thread. Perhaps one day you will carry Vessel screwdrivers too. I imagine a number of us would rather purchase them through you than from Amazon Japan or a more expensive domestic vendor.

We have considered Vessel in the past, but things didn't pencil out. It's something we may revisit again in the future as we continue to grow, but not likely anytime soon.

Thanks for the update! As far as future products, I would prefer Merry, 3Peaks, Keiba, Matel, etc. These would offer a nice compliment to the Knipex and PB that you already carry.

Hey y'all, hope everyone is having a nice summer :)

Labor Day Sale kicked off today with 15% sitewide using coupon LABOR22. Enjoy the deals!
Thanks. I put in my first order for some PB Swiss screwdrivers. Quick delivery and good packaging as others noted. Without a doubt I will be ordering more tools from my wish list in the near future.

Think you'll do an embroidered version of the PB Swiss hats?
Possibly in the future with a different style of hat, but nothing planned as of now.

Glad to hear it!

New member here and new to PB Swiss tools. I've placed 2 orders with DRPD now and love the PB Swiss tools! I'll be placing my 3rd order when the VDE interchangeable blades are back in stock. Great service from DRPD 👍

We do have a large shipment scheduled for late November / early December that should (hopefully) include a refresh of the Interchangeable VDE sets and individual items.

It's currently unclear whether said shipment will arrive in-time for the sale or not, here's to hoping the shipping lanes cooperate.

Just want to echo my support for DRPD. A lot of us have been ordering from Amazon Japan lately due to the low exchange rates and while there may be some savings vs DRPD on items from Amazon Japan the packaging care and support from DRPD will be far superior. Amazon Japan tends to have skimpy packaging and you are pretty much accepting full self warranty. Also changing your mind (for those indecisive members) or dealing with shipping damage is far harder with Amazon Japan so buyer beware.

Do you have more PB Swiss stuff coming in stock anytime soon like interchangeable VDE screwdrivers?
Good news is I've confirmed the following interchangeable VDE items are currently en-route to us:
  • PB 5215.C SL 3.5x0.6
  • PB 5215.C SL 4.0x0.8
  • PB 5215.C SL 5.5x1.0
  • PB 5215.PH SL 2
  • PB 5216.SU
  • PB 5218.SU
Bad news is the ETA to the warehouse is currently 12/5 so definitely not going to arrive in time for the sale.

Thanks for the head start! Order placed - I think its my 4th one with you. Definitely appreciate the fine tools and great service!

A brief anecdote: the last time a box from DRPD showed up at the house:
Wife calls from the other room "What did you get?"
Me: "Oh, a bunch of tools."
Wife: "Don't you already have a bunch of tools?"
Me: " ..........................", trying to think of a smart response but coming up blank.

She's always way ahead of me!

That's when you say, "why don't we go to the mall, and you pick up a new pair of shoes."

looks like you posted 2 codes here. tools22, and gjtools22. I'm guessing the latter was created to try and track the amount of sales brought in from this site? I used the first one when I ordered yesterday but I only know of you because of this site, specifically the tools of japan thread discussing ko-ken, just fyi... I wish I had remembered, I was going to include a note asking you to throw in some ko-ken stickers if possible. I completely forgot about that.

Looks like my package was picked up by ups later the same day and is already in transit, wow that's fast! Thanks for being so quick with it.

Hi, thanks for pointing that out. We mostly offered the GJ specific code in hopes that users here could get their hands on things early as we tend to often sell out during our sales.

And as @Outahere kindly pointed out, we do include stickers with every order so you should have at least one Ko-ken sticker on the way

After seeing the Kokenusa 35% discount code I realized I could have saved $25 on my order just placed.

But I don’t care. You guys took care of me with my KTC ratchet (that I didn’t order through you) that I’m happy to give you my business.

lol, I feel pretty stupid even talking about stickers like this haha. I normally wouldn't care about stickers at all. But people here have made me want some from koken. glad you include them.

can't be more happy about the shipping speed. I ordered from kokenusa within an hour of ordering from drpd, and the way it's looking I won't be surprised if I receive my items from DRPD before the kokenusa shipment even leaves the warehouse.

that's probably not the case. if you look at their non-discounted prices, kokenusa is at least 10-20% more expensive than other koken retailers. Pretty sure that their prices at 25% off are still more than DRP at 15% off. But it's a good opportunity to buy things that DRPD doesn't stock, without having to pay a bunch extra.

I only ordered 1 Koken item from DRPD, a nut grip socket set, and it was $10 cheaper (with the 15% discount) than buying from KokenUSA (with the 25% discount).
