Hi, my name is Andy. I live in Ohio but work has me spending a lot of time in Iowa and Virginia. Up until recently, I have spent most of my extra time messing with older cars/trucks, but I recently bought an old farm house that has a large old barn, a smaller shop/barn and a couple old corn cribs that all need some amount of repair. The goal will be repairing the buildings to their former glory, while also making them well suited to my automotive restoration/fabrication needs. So far I have read up on a bunch of good information here, so I thought it would be wise to join in.

Howdy Andy. About 90 minutes northeast of ya in Miami County. Beautiful part of the state down that way. Beats the flat farmland up here. Good luck on your projects.

It's pretty flat in my area too! I'm still getting used to it. For the last 10 years, I lived at a property with a little bit of slope and surrounded by wooded areas... it's very breezy at the new place.

Usually just drive through there on the way down to Jackson, Vinton, Gallia, and Meigs counties for camping.
