Morning folks,
Wanted to say hi from the Lone Star State. Just bought our second home and wanted ideas for the only room I get to decorate. I am starting with a blank 2 1/2 blank slate. Planning on new age bold series (red) cabinets with a gunmetal, red white and black floor (alma mater in the design) and finish it off with some sort of trac system for wall storage.
I have Sheetrock on the wall. What might be some good ideas of wainscoting. Was thinking about galvanized metal.

Boogie: i'm betting you'll find someone that already has posted pictures of the garage set up you are talking about. i'm guessing you are saying you have a 2.5 car garage. yes? how high are the ceilings and how deep or what are the dimensions. a good thing you should do is take and post a lot of pictures because we all like pictures. maybe start a thread in the garage gallery or just make posts in a lot of different ones you like which i tend to do. just a warning if you hang around the Forum for a while your need for more tools and garage stuff will greatly increase.

Welcome and if you ever need a vise or grinder or other tools take a gander or the threads over in the general tool section where i usually hang and ask for help if you can't find what you need or if you have some questions.

Hello from OKC, OK. I saw a shop that had 4x8 masonite siding. Didn't look bad, siding was painted a rustic look and the rest of the walls was white.
