Greetings everyone!

I’m in Fredericksburg, Virginia and my garage is depressing. Lol

I’m interested in getting recommendations on what garage cabinets to get. I’ll be storing anything from tools to auto parts.

I’m also interested in knowing what kinds of 1950s and ‘60s tins and neon clocks or signs are out there...

Thank you in advance!:beer::thumbup:

Welcome. Good luck on putting together your cabinets. Choose wisely. Tons of options including self build. That's my personal preference.

Welcome from Ashland, VA.
By joing GJ, you will soon learn all the things you never knew you needed.
As for cabinets, it sounds like you need something reasonably rugged. Many people buy cabinets from the ReStore run by Habitat for Humanity. A walk through the big box stores will show you lots of options. If your browse their websites, you'll see many more options. The answer to the question will depend heavily on what your budget it.
I bought some of the Gladiator RTA (ready to assembly) cabinets a few years ago on Black Friday sale. They're fine, but they do feel a bit flimsy to be sold as a garage cabinet. I think they'd be fine as long as you don't store your anvil collection. As far as rolling - I agree. I added casters to the two wall locker style cabinets I have using the threaded insert that had the foot screwed into it. Super Handy!!!

If you don't already, make it a habit to check the "Special Buy of the Day" on the HD website. The New Age brand stuff comes up every couple months.
