Good morning everyone,
Great site, I've been lurking and using the search button for a while now. Figured it's time to say hello.
We are moving to Colorado Springs CO (from Cheyenne WY). With any luck we will be closing on a place east of town and will want to start building a shop ASAP.
Leaving behind a VERY overcrowded 24x36 that the wife and I built (100% from digging the foundation to roofing) about 15 years ago. It's so overcrowded that I'm storing stuff at a friends place :-(
The plan is for a 40x80 (or 40x100 or 54x80) with 14 foot walls to accommodate a 2 post lift. regretfully, the new job does not allow time for self construction; at least not the structure and concrete. We need the shop built before we can completely move out of Wyoming. Budget will likely dictate having the shell constructed with 1/2 of the floor in concrete and we will do the wiring and finishing as we go.
As this is not the place to start asking questions or getting recommendations on builders, I'll start an new thread elsewhere.
