Hi my name is Mike or you can call me dozerguy seeing as i work in excavating. I found your site while looking for information on finishing the interior walls of my garage/barn 50 x 40, with reclaimed barn siding. I am looking forward to checking out all your great ideas on tools and garage designs. Just hanging out here in Auburn , IN.

thanks! I am planning on starting a thread with pictures of my 50x40 garage real soon. I am done with exterior siding, wiring and insulation inside. not quite done with the plumbing yet, but that will come. I'd like to finish my interior walls with barn siding, similar to what Gearbanger did to his shop interior. I just struck gold with getting contracted to disassemble a 110-120 yr old barn. For just my time and labor I get all the wood beams, wood siding, bracing, whatever I want.( barn facts: 12" hand hewn beams of white oak, 6" mortise and tenon braces in oak, 8" siding boards ?maybe poplar. so i've got my work cut out for me. I'll keep you posted!

Be sure to check out Tinbender's Pedestrian Garage for creative use of reclaimed lumber.

Welcome to the board. Looking forward to what you have to post. Nice to hear from some others who understand iron footed equipment.
