I am probably way out of my field here.
I found a link to a workbench that pointed here, so I joined up to see what was what. Now, after a look around, I'm not in the place i thought, exactly.

Still, prettying interesting stuff, educational, and who doesn't like a good shop... OK, mine is a wood shop, but we share a love of "our space", fabrication, and good tools. Maybe I'm not so far "out there".

So, with your permission, I'll hang around a bit and see what's going on!?!

Welcome to the forum from a very warm S.E. Wisconsin. I too do mostly woodworking, although I have metal working tools as well which I use on occasion.

Welcome Doctor Wine You will find many doctrines followed within the GJ followers. Hewers of wood from what I have heard have great pics. Let’s see some of your projects. Check out some of Rivens tables, they are amazing.

Thanks all for the welcome. I've been poking around a little more, and love seeing the auto work and the shops.

(gtabasso, I am not familiar, but will look them up! Thanks!)

I do mostly turning, and at the "height" of my efforts did a lot of pens.

I was pretty active for a while, and kind of "fell out" for 6 or 7 years. I am getting back into the swing and having to re-learn how to use the tools properly.

Here's one of the pens I have done recently. My first shot at it... not great but not too bad:
