Hey guys. I bought this radial arm saw from a craigslist ad for $20. It did not work of course. I took it apart and cleaned the reset switch and back together. Runs like a charm. Someone had started checking it by pulling out the power switch, and apparently lost the switch cover and screws. So I am in the market for a cover if anyone has an extra. Parts places I have looked at say they are no longer available. In addition, I ran the numbers and this one is included in the massive Emerson recall on Craftsman RAS's. If I send in the motor they will send me $100. But I would rather have the working saw than the dollars. Gotta smile, cause I usually come out the other way on these little deals, lol.

If you realize it's not a table saw or miter saw, it does have it's place. It's great for cutting long boards or putting dados in wide boards or notching stuff like 4x4s.

I love mine.

Looks like a later one, that one they may not send you $100 but will send you a safety shield and a new top.
