I found some cheap anti-fatigue mats online, to go with a few of the Snap On ones I already had, sure better than standing on concrete the whole time I'm in my shop.
Also took and old king size bed frame that had some storage, stacked them up added a countertop, some casters, paint to match my blue and black theme and I have a workbench!
Catchingup on some updates, hung up the Ford sign from my old mans shop, had hung on his shop for many years I also moved the first car into the new shop addition, wheel dollies really help to get cars tight against the wall
The electricians had to come back to replace a faulty light fixture, I took advantage of the scissor lift they had hung my air line to run to the opposite wall via the roof beam, looks pretty clean, will hopefully get the rest piped in next week.
Last update, had welders here working, 30x40 awning going up, this thing is overbuilt but might someday be closed in, It will be a nice dry outdoor work space and probably parking spot for the kids and to get a few things that I want dry but not indoors, probably my tractor.
Thanks guys, Didn't realize how much I was going to like the awning, its all framed in and should be roofed soon, hope to get a day off next week get it back filled so I can use the doors and move another car or two.
My awning is nearing completion, much taller and bigger than I saw in my mind, really going to like the space to keep stuff dry, its 30x40 and 12 ft tall
Finished the awning and got it trimmed out today, I really glad they were able to trim it out cleanly, I was a little worried with the 12 beams wouldn't look good.
Neat. I check every couple weeks hoping for an updated shot of my property...but it never changes! It still shows what it looked like with the previous owner's camper and a bunch of missing grass where my driveway is now.
Havent done much lately so I figured I would post a pic of my bar, its a mess, most of this will move into my office/sign room in the new shop once its completed.
