It may not be a server or site issue at all.
Could be an issue with the host facility or a third party DNS server under attack.
There are many hops our traffic takes to get to the server.
Any time one of those hops acts up or is unavailable, it causes the delivery of content to slow to a crawl.
I will wait for Ryan to give more detail.

The error I've been getting is a "Error 509 – Bandwidth Limit Exceeded".
We are working on it guys. Sorry.
