Try to be patient, keep taking their money and network with the clients.
LOL, I started Wednesday morning, all I needed was a bunch of WO#'s for what I did Tuesday night. The guy at the office kept screwing things up. I had to keep changing my paperwork to try to match what he was sending me, then he changed what the WO#'s were for 3-4 times. Each time I had to change quotes and parts request because the WO#'s and/or scope of the work changed. Then he just quit in the middle of this stuff and went home and left me hanging. I told the timesheet people what was happening and the "boss" to no avail, so I sent in what I had as it was last sent to me. Then I started getting a few more e-mails about the times. I finally got the timesheet people happy and quit... after 6.25 hours and literally 90 e-mails after this disaster started. I was hoping to get this WO# thing done quickly and then go to the storage locker and get it straight and pick up batteries I needed for stock so Friday morning I could start early and finish early. I went out to the locker, got it straight and sent the "boss" a picture of before and after, then went to the NAPA for batteries and DEF. I got an e-mail saying I should have done that Wednesday. I knew when i turned my time in for Wednesday doing the paperwork and such it would come back to haunt me and it did. Just as soon as she changed it from the WO# the paperwork was done on, to SH, shop time, it got the e-mails. So basically, I didn't get paid for 4.5 hours working Friday. And today when I didn't turn a timesheet if for Friday, I explained to the time keeper why, then I get an email that says to meet someone at the storage locker at 8am. I'll guessing I'm getting fired. It's sad, I like the work, but the BS is killing me. If it weren't for the paperwork and BS I'd be happy doing it for 1/2 the money. I didn't take the job for the money, I took it because I like the work.
