Hub for outdoor panel and ground bar

Can you tell me how to use the special ordered hub top for an outdoor nema 3r panel?

It’s got a tapered pipe thread on it I assume you must use rigid metal conduit? That makes it water tight? Do I need sealant or Teflon tape?

I am actually using the panel indoors because I changed my mind and would like to run the feeder from the top. It would be EMT before getting to the hub.

Also when installing ground bar do I have to remove the white circle stickers first. Or just poke the screw thru is fine ?

You just bolt it to the top with the 4 supplied screw (10-24 IIRC). The NPT threads are meant to accept rigid conduit as you stated, but will also accept any NPT conduit fitting, such as a raintite EMT compression connector. Since you're mounting indoors, you shouldn't care about sealing, but they don't need tape or sealant even when installed outdoors.

Any tapered pipe thread should have sealant or lubricant, pipe is especially prone to seizing.

Where is the white circle sticker? I don't understand. Ground bar should come with a fine thread screw to use in a threaded hole in the panel.

They cover the holes with sticker.. this is even still there intact on the panel of my house for an extra ground bar. I think it is so people don't use those threaded holes for mounting.

yes remove the stickers and believe it or not code also mentions removing the paint where you field install a grounding bus or lug. We use a wire brush on the drill.

The stickers are to prevent water intrusion, if you notice they are not below live parts.
