Has anyone used hubbell plugtrak. I was at the Habitat ReStore and picked up 2 6 foot 20 amp power strips for $10 each. I guess there are made for raceways applications but the deal was too good to pass up. I see them going for $40+ on ebay. Right now I have a subpanel wired but I haven't wired outlets to my workbench area yet. My garage was drywalled when the house was built back in the 1950s, so my plan is to run all my electrical wiring through metal conduit. How should I wire these into my garage? Are most outlet strips hardwired or are they made to plug into an outlet.

I've used Hubbell Plugmold across the front of my workbench for 30+ years. I'm as happy today with it as I was in 1983.

That image of "Plugtrack" looks a lot like what was called "Plugmold" back then. Dunno how/if they're different.

Probably the same thing. Probably some copyright issues with wiremold.

How did you wire it?

The only problem with the Hubbell product is it is not as common as Wiremold's Plugmold, so getting accessories could be more difficult, but I think Grainger has them, just bring your Vaseline® & bend over. :D
