Hubcaps

Wasn't sure about the title, but I've been trying to give my shop a facelift with some older pieces. I was out at my dad's today and dug through what he had laying around, and he gave me a set of 65 impala SS hubcaps and a steering wheel for the same car.
He also gave me what he thought was an old grant steering wheel off a 65 impala SS parts car he bought that was totaled in the late 70's or early 80's. The steering wheel had series 500 stamped on it, but I didn't get any close up pics of it. Anyway here's some pics of them after I hung them. The 65 wheel was originally green, but I painted it red since 95% of the paint was gone on it and I had the red paint.
The valve covers are a set of chevrolet script covers I picked up a couple week ago from a good guys show and painted up.

Love the collection! I have a friend who collects valve covers. He picks them up everywhere; eBay, flea markets, garages. I always thought it was a unique item to collect. He has them hanging up in his garage too.

Be careful, Sometimes this can go too far.

I don't know if your saying this jokingly or not, but I could see it all the way down the back wall.

Can you imagine being inside that hubcap house in a hailstorm ?

I hang my collection on white pegboard...they show up much better than on OSB...or SOB as 5/8ths (my wife), calls it! HA!

Before hanging anything on those walls please please please give the walls a few coats of paint!

Ditto on the paint. Your eyes will thank you later.

You can even throw some stripes up on those walls, too.

yeah I have been considering painting the walls and cieling, I just put up the osb on the walls a couple of weeks ago.
