Holy crapolee!! :eyecrazy: That garage is juuuusst right.

I'll never understand how some people can buy cool cars like that & never drive them...it just baffles me. Like the one with 5 miles on it & the '68 with the original window sticker still on the window...crazy.

Did you catch the part about who owns it? :headscrat

The garage is outstanding! The vette collection, however, is sad. I'm a car guy, love em', but to truly enjoy a performance automobile it needs to be driven. Drive em' hard, put em' away wet and when they die, retore them.

The way I look at it, there is a ton of fun in that garage that nobody was able to take advantage of.......................... friggin' sad.

Not sure if any of you have been reading the thread, but the cars, the garage, etc. were awarded to the wife in a divorce case. The guy no longer owns them.

If it were me, I would have committed suicide. There would be nothing left to live for.

BTW, the L88 is worth an estimated $600K. I don't think anyone in they're right mind would venture on the road with that car. It's worth far too much to be driving on the road.

If a guy can afford a collection and a garage like that, I'm surprised he couldn't afford a better attorney. Awarding a collection like that to the wife sounds very suspicious--most courts would allow him to give her cash (and I'm guessing she doesn't have any interest in the collection beyond taking it from her husband out of spite) instead, even if it meant liquidating some of the collection to pay her.

Or maybe he has a similar collection of vintage Ferraris and giving her the lowly Corvettes got him off easy!

That could be...for me personally, I'd take the Vettes over vintage Ferrari's.

It would be interesting to hear what happened & if the story is even true.

Cool

I think its cool anyway. The L88 car was sold by Polar Chev here in the Minneapolis area. I wonder how many others came through here.

What an awesome facility.

But it is proof positive that no matter HOW BIG YOU BUILD, you'll still run out of space! It's actually pretty crowded in there.
