Huge Pictures??

What is up with all of the huge pictures lately? There should be some kind of limit to how large of a picture can be uploaded or software to edit them automatically. Viewing those huge pictures on a computer are bad enough, but try it on an iPad.

There's not an easy way to enforce that I don't think with linking to external sites. I always host my images on imgur, but I make sure they are maximum 700 pixels wide which I think is a pretty good size that doesn't stretch the layout.

I think what's more important is getting people to stop quoting a post full of pictures so I don't have to look at the same 6 pictures 3 times on one page of a thread.

Upside down or sideways pics are just as annoying . . . or worse.

An ounce of prevention is worth . . . .

That's why I have always tried to recommend that members break up their posts with multiple pictures and limit it to 2-3 pics per posts.

Some guys won't do it and practically take offense that you suggest it.

if you exaggerated the pixel may be better

Well in a pinch you can hit "cntrl" and "-" to shrink the size of the webpage to get a complete view. and revese it with "+". That also works for zooming in some "interesting" avatars - non saying I've ever done that but in theory it would work
