Huge score if I needed them

My wife is a tax accounting for a very large restaurant company. They have brown buildings with a long front porch on them ( if you can guess the company). Anyway they are moving here offices for 6 months so they can remodel the building she is in. She called me this morning to see if I wanted any metal filing cabinets, I get over there and there is 200 to 300 4 drawers cabinets lined up with dispose on them. She said they were going to scrap everyone of them. I got 2 of them, and 2 of the 2 drawer. I couldn't believe it, if I had the space I'd take them all and put them on CL for 10.00 each. There were 15 ft work tables that had shelves on the bottom of them, I wanted one of those but there was no way to get them down stairs. I think they were built on site.

Anyway at least I got a couple of things.

My local Habitat Restore has tons of the big wide 4 drawer file cabinets. Made in Canada and they are selling them for $40 bucks. If I had the room, I would have bought several of them.

As more and more companies switch to all digital record keeping, there will be more and more surplus cabinets getting sold dirt cheap or scrapped.

I would take a bunch if could get them need more tool storage

I would have gotten em all and rented a storage unit if need be while they were being sold
