yeah, could see piecemealing that set on the used market for a 1/3 or less of that price. They do include a lot of worthless stuff in those sets.

But be honest. How many of you wouldn't wet yourselves if that set was under the tree on Christmas morning?

In all honesty, getting a big set like that, just kinda ruins the fun of piecing together a set. There really would be no getting excited over a smoking deal, when you already have it.IMHO

I agree, you can buy a cheaper set first, and then have fun peicing a set and saving money as you, tool shopping is fun!

There's 1000 pieces. I bet a lot of guys on here have that beat. There'd still be plenty that you'd need..... could use..... like to have? You know what I mean. Most of us on here have realized that you can never have enough/too many tools, just not enough storage is the potential problem.

If you found that in the classifieds here in GJ, dont pay over half of retail!:bounce:

If they would take trades maybe my 'Vette would be a fair trade:headscrat

recently I've looked at the master sets and realized that I already have most of the stuff in the list, just not snap-on.

I like the thrill of new tools every so often so I'd never buy something like that, but I wouldn't return it...
