what information do you need ?
I have one in my living room/kitchen. It's very quiet, but not that silent... you'll still hear some low frequency noise... but very tolerable... compare to the 33 gallon oil-less craftsman I have... or other oil-less I have.

as far as air consumption needs... it's 5CFM... look at the CFM of the compressor, not the tank size. when you looking at this stuff... 5.1CFM it's good for most things, just not some of the professional sprayer or sand blasting stuff or running any air tools that have high CFM consumption like that air drill/ air scalier stuff you get the point...

price wise... I think the HF fortress one is about the same but a bit cheaper...

I got the hulk when it was on sale at sears... so different case.

I'm with dogdog. I bought mine on sale at Sears (remember when Sears was a thing?) and I love it while understanding its limitations. I'm in an attached garage under the kitchen so I have to be aware of noise through the house. It doesn't disturb the rest of the house as an oil-less would. You can have a conversation around it without yelling and I know it's recovery time is pretty reasonable for a 110v compressor.

That is has the highest CFM I could find in a quiet oil-less compressor was the selling point. I'm happy with my purchase.

One thing to note: because this is an import unit getting replacement parts from Emax isn't exactly easy. I had a leaking line and after they sent me a line that wouldn't fit they just shipped me a new unit under warranty. Don't expect this to be as "serviceable" as a larger, more expensive, compressor but kudos to Emax for quickly replacing the compressor.

Are these close to their claimed noise level (or was that noise levels when measured at 30ft)? I ask because I have a CAT 1hp compressor that claims to be 60db. My phone app and another very low end sound level meter say it's closer to 68. Very tolerable, like typical car idle but certainly not as quiet as that one is claiming. Given the similarities between the pumps and the rest of the design I really doubt that one would hit 51db using a normal sound level measure but it's still likely to be considered very quiet.

At 30' away, I would be outside my 2 car garage. How big of a space do you have and how far away from it will you realistically be working?
