Humbled by the Awesomeness!

Greetings from my adopted state of Ohio! I'm a North Dakota transplant stuck in the suburbs (Funny what love makes a guy do). My growing family has produced more bikes, scooters, sports gear, and all the rest to have expelled me from the house garage for the past year or two. My solution has been to build a new garage (of course).

This fall and I decided to a garage just behind the house. We have a homeowners' association, design committee and the local zoning/building codes to contend with, but I've finally touched all the pre-planning bases and broke ground on a 22 x 30 garage with a storage attic design just this week!

Looking at the pages and pages of garage projects, flooring ideas, etc here at GJ has been inspiring, humbling and just plain fun! I wish I had found it years ago when I first started looking for my garage solutions.

I'll put a gallery together when my project is a bit further along, but I hope you don't mind me showing the start of my project here.

Welcome from OKC and why wait, post it in the gallery and let more people in on what you are doing. This introduction area doesn't get as much attention as the other areas. Cause actually there is just too too much added to this fourm every minute and is hard to keep up with daily let alone if you miss a day you only have time to check your favorites. BE SURE to post plenty of pictures from start, and all updates (won't say finished cause we are never actually finished are we?) WE LOVE PICTURES.

Thanks! The foundation blocks were just delivered this morning. I'll get some updated pics when I get home from work and start a garage thread this weekend. (Garages ARE exciting....)
