I have a honeywell tru steam which they no longer make. They actaully work great when they work. Had to run a seperate circuit since it pulls about 10 amps. i have a 9 gallon per day. I use a vison pro iaq stat that calls for humidity, fills and heats the tank and then the humdifier grabs the g terminal around 176* water. The problem with the Trusteam, the heater if it burnt out is non replaceable. I also have a ultravation uv system and when I had my old april air 760 it did keep the mold off BUT the plastic was not uv rated. I covered everything plastic with metal tape. They raised our water rates so I wasn't letting the humidifier piss water and my money down the drain. If the trusteam takes a dump ill still stay with steam. I just bench tested a 6 GPD last weekend I had sitting and installing it in my daughters home.
