Huot roller chest question

I am working on a Huot roller chest and have a question on the pullout front panel. what was the original attachment for this panel? Should there be a roller on each side that rides on the track? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a Huot to compare to but on my Beach there is a rod and spring to hold the clamshell door. The rod keeps the door from pulling out/too far forward by engaging the bend lip downward at the front of the box.

Mine is just a steel bar running side to side through the bracket holes just like OTG's. Looks like someone bent it to get it in. Works fine as is though. Ed.

Thanks, just the info I was looking for, should be easy to adapt a straight metal rod to hold the cover in place.

I do like the type of drawer slide locks these Huot drawers have. A small screw driver easily releases the slide for drawer removal.

Nice photos everyone. I just picked up a Huot 201 but its missing the front panel. Im on the hunt if anyone knows someone. thanks.
