Hi folks! I have a 22 ton Huskee log splitter with a B&S 6.75E engine. I have spark and air and I have gasto the carb. It's a fuel delivery problem....dah..... If I give it a shot of ether if fires. Have gas in the Bol. Float is working as I can blow on the gas line ****** and raise and lower the float and its passing and an shuts off. There is a red primer bulb that you depress 3Xs to prime but I do not see any fuel being induced into the throat of the carb. I know about the ethanol gas and clogging issues. I need help....please. Thanks.

Sounds to me like it's time to take the carb off and apart for a thorough cleaning with compressed air and carb cleaner. I would guess I'm not telling you something you don't already know but it takes VERY little to clog some of the passages on those carbs. Take apart for a good cleaning and run some SeaFoam or K100 in the gas in the future.

Just my .02.

Probably the idle circuit jet that's clogged. Just had a snowblower in that surged all the way up the rpm band, which typically indicates a lean mixture. I cleaned the carb 2 times before digging a little deeper for info and learned i wasnt getting at the idle circuit jet good enough and once i properly removed it and clean it, it ran like it should. It was a Briggs engine also.

The one thing I do in this situation is plug the air inlet to the carb and crank it over, hoping that the hi vacuum will **** the fuel through the carb. If not then put a few cc's of fuel down the carb and see if it will clear and start. I've been run my splitter with no problems this spring and the other day it would not start. Pulled the plug and it was bridged with water. Cleaned out the cylinder and plug and it took of.

Also, try some fresh fuel. I thought I would try some of the premixed fuel-in-a-can from the hardware store (VP Fuels 40:1) and my leaf blower and chainsaw would not run on it. Switched to TruFuel from Lowes and they started.

Yes had a little fuel left from the Fall....I thought I had run it out of gas as I usually do with the push mower n leaf blower...I topped it off with fresh fuel. How about a dunk in a HF ultrasonic tank? I'll try plugging the air intake as suggested. Thanks
