I have the exact one except mine is 3/8 drive. I bought it about 8 years ago and back then they are USA made. Tempted to buy this one just to have it
Someone mentioned tax. No tax on ebay just shipping fees.
The seller charges sales tax. Came to $5.30 shipped for me.
How's the tooth count? Needing something to tide me over until I bite the bahco bullet.
Received mine yesterday. Components made in Taiwan, packaged in China.
Overall, seems of decent quality and finish. Worth the $5.09 paid.

This was posted in the old hot deals thread and everyone that ordered them then got USA made ratchets. I guess they got a different batch or something.
Made in Taiwan, packaged in China. No quick release, haven't seen that mentioned yet. Hard to say it isn't worth $5. I do like the thumbwheel feature and that is the main reason I bought this (to go with the 3/8" USA set I got years ago from HD). That set has 1/4" and 3/8" drive sockets, now I won't have to bother with the reducer. Agree with it sounding like it needs a lubing.
LOL I remember buying that old set mainly because it had both SAE and Metric common sizes, and it came in a nice red steel case. Nowadays you would get a huge blowmolded case - the red case fits easily in my portable toolbox.
i had a 3/8" husky ratchet in those metal red cases... they were junk. that ratchet fell apart on me twice (the 2nd one was a replacement for the 1st). maybe these made in taiwan are better... i don't know, but my experience with husky ratchets hasn't been good.
Yours was US-made? I've had my set for like 15 years, never let me down and I still use it a lot.
