Sorry about the title - it was Home Depot.

Saw these in Home Depot tonight for $19.00.

They were out at my home depot. I wouldn't mind having one at that price.

Not a bad deal for $20. I grabbed a few, bolted them together and threw some casters on the bottom.

Brought it up to the cashier check the price,She scanned it and said it is $19.00 I said let me go and get another one to my luck it was the last one and I got it. Thank you

The 40 inch 10 drawers is on sale too. There were 3 in mira mesa CA. 2 had will call stickers but the last one didn't so I got it. I see in the online reviews other stores are clearing them out too. Listed as an online only item now.

Who knows?
Just ordered two by phone from the Wake Forest store here in NC.

Holy cow, they might not be as nice as the HF's, but for the price, I can afford to repaint them. I've already got two old 26" ers plus two large file card cabinets for storage. These are def going to increase my storage!

Don't waste your time driving to the store, just call them up to verify inventory and pay over the phone with the customer service desk.

Thanks a mil Flying Squirrel! My wife is going to kill both of us!

I know the quality isn't as nice, but I bet they'll work out ok for home use. I'll let ya'll know!

Glad to help. I had to agree to some garage organizing to convince my lady to be on board.

Yeah the quality is evident by the weight especially the top chest. I have an old craftsman 40 that I remove the drawers to move it around whereas this husky chest I can easily pick up the whole box. I plan on just using it to store misc stuff so not an issue for me.

Link? Pics?

Jim, ill try and run by the store again tomorrow. The tool chests were still wrapped and on the upper shelves near the tool aisle. They had 6 52in and about 4 of the new 41in, the 41s look like a hf 44, full width top on the bottom chest then split drawers on the rest of the bottom and on the top....also has the same bent style lid as the 52......

Cool yes....Cheap? He stated he spent $120 on metal plus paint etc. and all the time. I think he would have been farther ahead with the HF box.

Thanks for the post now I have a new forum to take up my time

Yea I didn't think about it in terms of HD vs. HF (Alphabetically arranged, whaddya know!) base price. Guess I was thinking in terms of the $175 base price + $120 for improvements = $295. True, HF is a tad cheaper and you don't have top waste your time with modifications, buuuuuut, I'm a huge fan of the single width drawers on the entire HD stack. Plus, the paint job is unique IMO. AND he got a top cabinet with the HD. He would still have to buy the top for the HF.

I might repaint mine as well, but for about $380 I get roughly 80 inches wide of storage at 61 inches high. For HF I'd get a bottom and have most of the money for a top, but not the full amount.

If I'm not mistaken, the lady said they had 9 left.

Call up there first, if they're out the Knightdale store might have some.
I went today and they only had one display left. They really sold fast. It was beat up, dirty and missing the keys. They only gave me 10% off and a serious attitude about it. After she realized it was clearance she didn't even want to give me the extra 10%.
