Don't know about that particular ratchet, but the Husky stuff I've seen lately has been absolute ****.

Well - these are the old style that they don't have on the shelf anymore - I think they used to be about $19 - $20 or so.

I agree - the newer ones are nothing to brag about.

I was looking at the stuff they had on the shelves the last time I was at HD, nothing stood out to me.

Same ones can be found at Walmart branded Stanley for less than $10, I believe.

I think the stanley one is about $13-14 at wal mart around here. I'd buy the husky instead just because of the no hassle warranty.

I've got a handful of stanley ratchets that are 3-5 years old and they are honestly pretty nice, but the brand new ones are really cheesy.

I may be wrong on the price, more just stating that the "deal" is more of an everyday price. But, I agree. The Stanley ratchets are nice. I bought one maybe 2 years ago in my first real tool set. I love that ratchet, and honestly reach for it more often than my Snap On dual 80. Either way, those are mosty likely the best Chinese ratchets you can buy for e money.
