I am looking for a part to fix my compressor. Not sure of part name but any help would be appreciated. I know it's a bearing but can't find it anywhere. Screw driver in pic points to the bad part. The faulty bearing allows the belt wheel to walk out and miss align the belt. Model number WL660800AJ

Ball bearings are standard parts on most anything a consumer will buy. The bearing should have the generic bearing part number on it somewhere, likely on the black seal and probably ending in the letters "RS". Otherwise, remove the bearing and provide us the OD, ID, and Width and somebody can give you the right part to go order.

Thanks for the response. Is it possible if that bearing is bad it would allow the belt wheel to walk out and misalign the belt causing it not run properly?

If the shaft is moving, there is either a retaining ring missing from the shaft, or the shaft is worn out due to an insufficient press fit into the bearing that loosened over time.

The bearing is going to be much harder steel than the shaft, therefore it's far more likely that this is a shaft issue and not a bearing.

Edit- if the bearing is moving in the housing, then the housing is worn or there's a retaining ring missing in the housing.

if the bearing is loose, it will allow the shaft to tip & cause the belt to misalign for sure.
is there actually side play in the shaft? usually those bearings last quite a while.
there will be a number on the bearing like 6203rr or something like that. bearing numbers re fairly standard .

The only the only that is moving is the shafts. The bearing isn't moving in the housing.

Like I said previously, it's doubtful the bearing is the issue if the shaft is moving.

there is whats called an inner race & an outer race on the bearing. so you're saying the inner portion of the bearing is spinning on the shaft ? if that's actually the case, the shaft is bad & getting a new bearing to fit properly will be virtually impossible

I found the culprit! Hair line crack in the housing.

I'm sure you could get it welded, but IMO it's time to move on to a new compressor. If you have it welded, it's possible that the housing might warp, and the bores become out of alignment- it only takes a few thousandths of an inch. And it's also possible that it will crack again after it's welded.
