Looks like a good homeowner box, but not really that great of a deal. I fondled one the other day, the "hardwood" top didnt impress me at all, reminded me more of cardboard. No heft to it.

Pretty flimsy and at that width, with the drawers only rated for 50lbs...you're asking for trouble.

Re: Husky 39" 3-Drawer Mobile Workbench - $149

I picked one up Last Friday to use in my garage in a box tent I have one of the bigger boxes in the house so this is for little stuff that I'm using all the time working on my jeep like sockets and some wrenches so it's working perfect it's more of a tool cart / mobile work platform then a toolbox. And it's a decent deal if you compare it to there 27 inch toolbox with wooden top at $250 or the 54 inch at $299

Tough crowd in here.

I wouldnt mind taking two of these and put a solid working surface on top to create a larger work bench.

But yeah I am going to wait until they are discounted.

Looked at one today-
Opened the cabinet door and saw the caster bolts sticking up through the bottom. also agree on the thin drawers.

I've though about buying one and modding it into a welding cart! I'd love to have all my welding equipment on one easy to move cart!

I don't know about that. One two many pairs of gloves could collapse the damn thing. :p

It looks like these may be a special, one-time item. Any guesses until they put this SKU on clearance? They seemed to be moving OK at most stores but I found one store that doesn't know how to market: didn't have one out for display, had half of them in the rafters, etc. They may still clear them out but they started with 13.

Wonder if it would be considered in poor form to set my 33" Mac top box on top of it, or if it would just crumple under the weight of it. Seems like 33" boxes are hard to come by these days.
