Husky air compressor parts?

I bought a second hand Husky air compressor and I'm having trouble finding parts for it. The manual is worthless and the customer service phone line runs me around in circles. Does any one know the part # for the brushes and spring that holds them in? It's a 20 ga. 5 hp model # C202H. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Jim0-4.jpeg

Everywhere I look I only see them selling the complete motor pump for about $100.

The best bet might be to go to your local Ace, mine has various brushes in stock. Buy one close, and file it down.

Like RTM said, measure what you have and buy something that works.

You will likely need to search by dimensions. And you may find comparable vacuum cleaner brushes.
But if they are sparking excessively you might also have a burnt out commutator. Check it for dark or burnt areas.

My Husky (60gal) was made by Campbell Hausfeld and the parts are interchangeable with the CH equivalent (ie. it's the exact same compressor).

Hmm, maybe this one? Little hard based on crappy pixelated parts diagrams, but there is no brush on that list either.

That particular model might not be made by CH, but I HIGHLY doubt Husky makes compressors themselves- Husky is likely just a marketing company that rebrands (like so many other companies these days).

Edit - I forgot to point out that the plastic shell might be intentionally designed so figuring out the actual manufacturer would be difficult (ie. makes it look different from the actual manufacture's model or other rebranders.

Most likely, the springs are still in there, I think they are called a flat spring. When you take the brush out it unrolls but if you don't replace the brush it will it will roll back up inside the brush holder, It's just hard to see. They are attached in that holder is why I think they are probably still there. You should see it at the bottom of the brush holder, stick a little screwdriver or something in the middle of the spring, and roll it back out. I did the exact same thing, I could not figure out how I lost the springs...
As far as brushes, I ordered a pair off Amazon that were a little too big but same layout {copper wire coming out of the back at the top) then sanded them down to the same thickness and width as the ones that were in there. I used a belt sander, they sand down in a matter of seconds. the ones I used:
