This is mine. I've had the exact same bottom before, but black. This one is missing the model number stickers.

Does anyone have the Husky or Beach model numbers for these?

Also I've read that these were also badged by MAC and Proto. Would anyone have model numbers for those?

Those boxes look awfully similar to my Mac MB4150 and MB4250 boxes. Mine has that quirky locking system where every drawer has to be pushed in for it to lock properly. The slide releases on the original slides were pull out plastic tabs instead of the usual plastic levers you push on. If this sounds familiar, then we have the same basic box.

The model number stickers were located inside the boxes on the top left corner in my case. The model number, serial number, and made in Canada are stated. Slides that retrofit in should still be available from Mac tools. The annoying part is that replacement slides are not lifetime warranty when I told my Mac guy to order new slides.

I've never thought that my box would be from back when the Beach tool box plant was still around. I've always assumed I had a rebranded international box from the early 2000s.

I have that same set. My wife actually surprised me with them one night. It was just before HD changed the color to black.
A year later I wanted to get a matching side box but HD said they were discontinued. I called the toll free number on the paperwork and it was Stanley Tool. The woman gave me the correct skew number and I was able to get the side I wanted. The following year I tried to order another one for the other side. At that point I was told that they were no longer sold by Husky. She gave me a phone number for a factory in Smith Falls Ontario. They made boxes for Husky, Proto, Mac and Beach. They were all the same color red. The side boxes look exactly like the Mac box but they dont have ball bearing slides.
In the end a guy at the factory told me I could get the side through Aukland Grainger, have it shipped to a Grainger in the US and then to me. It had Beach emblems on it when I got it. The Beach has an extra drawer. I called Stanley and the woman sent me two new Husky emblems.
As far as model numbers I can check tomorrow. My wife saves a lot of papers. She might still have the receipt.

Gray Tools had a XL and GT line of boxes that look similar to the Op's. These were made by Beach for Gray. I have a couple of Gray boxes and the stickers with the model number and made in Canada maple leaf are in the top right hand drawer.

Some pictures from a Gray catalog

Those are very similar but not the same.

I think there was a second Beach line rebranded under at least MAC if not others, I wonder if that's what the ones in your link are? I've never seen the set I speak of in person...

Would MAC have replacement keys or would each company have used totally different lock codes?

I found the receipt for the set but Ive got no other paperwork. I only have the numbers from the receipt.

Chest is 148898 or 7743590C6104
Cabinet is 149719 or 7743590C6111

Hope this helps but I'll look at the box later in the day.

Yes it has those slide tabs. I've had 3 of these over the years, and I've never seen that slide style on another toolbox.

I forgot to mention that I also ordered new locks for mine. They should be still available from Mac tools. The keys and locks on my Mac boxes don't look like anything special. I think even Stanley wouldn't be bothered to make them incompatible.

New members here. Any chance you still have this and know the model Numbers? I’m comparing parts to my Mac version and want to give husky a call for price comparison

That post above has model numbers. I sold mine. I wouldn't expect Husky to have any support at all at this point...

And to clear up the title, although these were made in Canada, it's now generally believed that Beach had nothing to do with them.

Home Depot informed me lifetime warranty is 25 yrs. Think these boxes had 1 yr warranty. This box was discontinued 2000
