Husky boxes

Was in Home Depot. They had a group of Husky top box, cabinet combos, 26 inch wide. Stainless $348, made in Vietnam, black $248, made in China. Stainless was a little heavier and a little better quality. Don't remember the number of drawers, but the combo was a little over chest high on me(6 ft. tall). Compares favorably to Sears boxes.

Looked at Sears boxes. One 56? inch combo was made in Mexico, according to label on box. Pretty nice set, but then price was $1700?? Did not compare to older Craftsman boxes.

I have a husky 26'' 5 drawer bottom. It's okay for what is. I only paid $40 for it at home depot. Not the best box there is but it works.

Got quite a bit last night.Its cloudy right now but sitting hede on the river fishing watching more rain moving in.Fish arent bitting to well so I guess its time to pack it up and head home.

I have the Husky 27" 9 drawer combo. Ball bearing drawers and has an overall nice finish to it. Paid $140 since they didn't have the stainless box I wanted. I LOVE IT!!! Has held up great these three years even with the abuse of marine conditions.

Ive got the USA assembled husky and its now the best, but for what I paid and for my needs, its great!

Are the new black Husky boxes Chinese? I knew the stainless were vietnam, but I thought the black ones were still USA assembled by Waterloo?

My 26" black husky is identical to my craftsman and box said assembled in usa. I hope they didn't go to china.

Re COO on the Husky boxes I saw, I was going by what it said on the cardboard packing box, also on the cardboard box for the Sears box.

BTW, most of the stainless boxes I've seen seem to be a little heavier and of better quality than the plain boxes. Never used one though.
