My local home depot's are closing out their husky cabinets. 24" x 24" wall cabinets 29.00, and and 24" x 36" base cabinets also 29.00. They are made from particle board, but hey for that price you can keep the hinges and handles and throw the rest away if they dont work out. I cleaned out the two stores near me.

Thanks for the heads-up, Tom. I went to my neighborhood HD yesterday & they still have 10 of the wall units available but are sold out of the base units. However the base units are still available at the other two HD's in the area. Too bad the base units aren't the drawer style instead of the shelf style. Oh well.

I sat in a comfy lawn chair next to the display yesterday while the sales clerk checked the availability of the base units for me and while I do like the wall units, for the life of me I really can't justify purchasing even one of them. I have a 16x32 shop, a 14x20 garage and my basement shop and I really can't figure out a true use for them. At the most I would just store stuff in them, but I already have that handled. Maybe I am so used to keeping stuff on large shelving units and up in the rafters that I don't know how to use wall cabinets. :headscrat I dunno.

Might buy a few just because the price is so good. Damn, that's the logic my friends ex-wife uses when she sees a pair of shoes. :shocking:

Called to check and my local HD doesn't have the Husky brand cabinets  I would've gone and cleaned them out being that we just moved into a new house so I need storage. Oh well...we're travelling this weekend so I'll check out some HD in the two bit towns I pass..
