why skip 16 and 18.. i would defenatly buy he set if it included those, but i am sure it will be a nightmare trying to find a 16 and 18 to match, and if i can find them, im sure they will cost more than the set

Just bought them yesterday and will be returning ASAP, didn't realize it till I got home but the open end is very thick. I may try them out before returning though, just to see how the surface grip idea works.

Now that you mention it, those open ends are extremely thick. Notice the obvious flare-out from the beams of the wrenches. That could pose an access problem in some cases.

BUT, in applications where the wrench fits, that extra thickness probably results in less spreading under high torque.

I just have to wonder if these tool companies have ever talked to someone who even occasionally turns a wrench???

Swing and a miss!!! Black looks cool, but it doesn't hold up. Most would rather have longevity vs. cool. Long pattern...right idea. Spline...meh, but tolerable. Their anti-slip design looks well considered and probably works well. The thick open end is a DEAL KILLER. The beams look uncomfortable.

As for the skipped sizes...That is only tolerable if they offer the other sizes. I get that guys that hang out on this forum are NOT their target audience. But even the neophyte wants tools that can grow with him.
