OK So about a year ago I went to Home Depot and purchased a 48 inch 9 drawer tool chest made by Husky.Well today I went to open the top drawer and about 6 small ball bearings rolled out onto the floor.Needles to say I was not a happy camper. I called HD who gave me the number to Husky, who inturn sent me back to HD.I recalled HD and told them the story again.I have just moved from Texas and now living in Missouri.The service manager spoke with me telling me that without the sales slip basically I was out of luck.I have know idea wear the slip is.Can anyone offer any suggestions? A possible repair? Thanks Ken

those 48" 9 drawers are NOT made by waterloo. they are some vietnamese brand
they have a 3 year warranty....or suppose to. take that sucker back with your recepit. look at the new ones. i think its in a gold sun shaped logo.

I have the same box and the rivet came out of one of the small drawers and the top drawer stuck 2 inches from fully extended it sat in the box for 2 years in my basement before I opened it and realized called them a month ago and they wanted pics and a copy of the receipt said OK have to find it. Never sent it in yet but the mailman dropped 6 new slides off last week.
That's weird. One of my coworkers (cheaparse) got HD to send him some slides for his Husky box through the mail. He got his toolbox for free as well, some scratch and dent they were going to throw out or something but he got his way I guess.

Not sure if HD is the same, but at Menards you can look up any past purchases with your CC and reprint receipts.

This assumes that he has the CC number. Which, if he bought it a couple years ago on a CC from HD is unlikely, because HD was hacked, and so lots of folks who used CC's to pay got new cards.
