My local Home Depot has a refurbished Husky Pro air compressor for sale. It is the same as the following link:

http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hard...splay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

It has a 2hp motor with oil lubricated cast iron pump and a 30 gallon tank. They are asking $200.66. I think one this size would do everything I want to do and then some. Do you guys think this is a good deal?

Thanks,
Chris

I have that compressor and it has suited me just fine. I don't really have anything that would give it a heavy load, the most would be an angle grinder. it can run that reasonably well. It will take a minute or two to catch up once it drains the tank but other then that it can run for a decent amount of time.

That's a great deal on that compressor. I sell Campbell Hausfeld reconditioned compressors, and we have sold quite a few of those. They are very quiet.
While they are designed and assembled in the U.S., the pumps are now made in china.

For what it is, that's a fantastic deal.

To compare, Sears regular deal on their 30-gallon Craftsman oil-less model is about $300. This one is oiled (better) and it's got reasonable specs for the size.
