If it's the ones I'm thinking they're stanley made imports,they should be ok for regular use,wouldn't want to rely on them for heavy everyday use,without having backups ready to step in if needed.

I have a set of those that was purchased in the 90's. The ratchets are nice. A couple of the sockets had some of the "black chrome" flake from the inside but the outside has done well.

Have the same ratchet. Works great and I even dropped it in saltwater and it still works fine!
