Hey guys, just needed an opinion about this toolbox i saw at Home Depot. Price tag is $348, and you get 2 pieces, a bottom roller and a top box. Is it good for this price or I can find better deals. Should I wait til labor day and see?

My opinion isn't very high on those. My friend has one and it is shallow and kinda flimsy. For that money get yourself a HF 44" or similar.

Weight capacity per drawer is also pretty low, so you aren't supposed to put much in each drawer.

Almost the same price for the HF 44". You can get the 26" HF with 16 drawers for around $330.00.

I got a 26" Husky box for less than 200.00. I prefer it over the 4 Craftsman boxes I had. I would definitely but another Husky box.. I only use it at home though. I have a Snap-On at work.

Much better to scour CL or estate sales for a used SnapOn, Mac, Matco, etc. Likely for $400 to $500 could get a narrow roller, or more.
The $359 US General 44" roller toolbox would also be great home tool box, IF you need something right now, and just can't wait.

Apples to apples, I would buy the HF 26 or 40 over either Husky. For the price the Husky 40" isn't bad but they're all deep drawers so you won't get much efficient use of space.
I have a 26" husky & cman both, neither one of them is as sturdy or well finished as the HF 26.

I just bought one of those. So far I love it. So much better than the small crappy Lowes Masterfirce boxes I have now. Way bigger and way more storage. I like it so much in fact I am planning to buy another shortly to eliminate one of my smaller Masterfirce boxes completely. The first one I bought cause my three little ones were overflowing.
I did consider the HF. But the price tag on that is just for the bottom box. No top. Would have to spend an extra 200 for that. This was 350 for top and bottom. Yeah. I'll be buying another in the next week or so.

I would avoid buying a Husky box. I got the Husky 52" workbench for fathers day and it arrived damaged and was a hassle to return, it ended up taking over a month to receive the full refund. The box in my opinion was poorly constructed, drawers were not very smooth, the box was not square, and finish was easily damaged (the reason it was damaged when I got it). After returning the box I got a Harbor Freight box which has more capacity and appears to be of better quality. After the hassle of dealing with THD's customer service on the workbench and another tool I had issues with I will avoid Husky tools as much as possible. Good luck in your decision!
The other to be mindful of is that Home Depot regularly clearances out the Husky boxes. It seems like they change the design every year or so, and dump the old boxes.
That being said, I've got a Husky box I got on clearance, and the HF box, and the HF is WAY better. The Husky box I have is thin metal, poor weight capacity, and just generally feels cheap. Right now it's in the corner just holding odds and ends because I prefer using the HF box.
Neither one is Snap On, but IMO HF is the better buy, even if you need to buy the top separate.

I checked that box out and think it's very decent for the money considering you get the top and the bottom.
It's a little flimsy so dont plan on loading it really heavy and I think it's only good for home use. Not professional for sure

I was really looking at the Husky and the C-man and the Kobalt. I thought the Kobalt were the best in what I was looking at. I happened to be by a Harbor freight one day at lunch and stopped in to look at the 44" box everyone is always talking about. I honestly was blown away by how good it was compared to everything I have looked at. I ended up getting the HF 44 for 359 which is the best I have seen it in the last 6 months in my area. I had a smaller C-man and hte HF is significantly stronger and better built. I will probably end up getting at least the extra side drawers and maybe the top cabinet. If I had more room I would get two 44" boxes.
I am very impressed with the box though. I was shocked how much stronger it was than the others I had looked at.
The bigger one 56"? is really nice too, it was just deeper than I had room for.

They also sell a smaller box under a different brand. That Brand is Masterforce. And they are garbage. They sell them in boxes, 3 different bases, 3 different tops. I wound up with one of each top and bottom on a Black Friday sale like seven years ago or so.
Bottom line to the op I would say its all personal preference for boxes. Get what you like the best and what works for your needs. That's what I did. And yes I will be getting another of those Husky boxes.

Home Depot = Husky
Menards = Masterforce or Performax
Harbor Freight = US General
