Husky USA CC Wrenches - Info & Value?

I've had this set for quite some time, and don't remember exactly where they came from.

I'm missing CC-20 (5/8") & CC-22 (11/16")

Curious how old they are? If they are anything special? And what they may be worth. Both as is, and as a complete set if I can track down the missing two. The finish is flaking on the open end of a few. So far I haven't had much luck finding info on them.

Original Home Depot Husky wrenches, probably made by Easco. Mid-90's.

Not worth selling they are not worth muc esp missing 2. Keep them as backups or when you have to cut or bend a wrench.

Husky has been around longer then home depot. I think they were a brand of New Britain orginally.

That is correct husky was made by New Britain for around 50 plus years starting some time in the 30s? But in this case the wrenches are newer and were sold in Home Depot at some time.

Thanks for the info guys. Kinda figured they weren't worth too much, but can always hope. Mid 90's seems about right. I'm thinking I got them early 00's from a friend cleaning out some old tools from a family member.

The biggest issue I have with the set is the two missing wrenches. The tool OCD keeps nagging . . "it's not complete . . . it's not complete", haha. I'll be keeping an eye out for the missing two and keep them as a beater set. I don't use SAE much anyways.

I checked my Husky gallon jug, no joy. I reckon those wrenches are about the same quality wise as Craftsman raised panel.

Nice set of Husky wrenches which are probably from the same company making CM RP wrenches. Solid tools worthy of keeping around. CM RP forged USA would easily fill the missing sizes.

Again very appreciative for you taking the time to look, would be amazing if you had the right ones.

I'll have to check my Father In-Law's spare wrench drawer for a couple Craftsman USA wrenches to fill in for now. After saying I don't use SAE much, I ended up using a good portion of the set repairing a few things on his old Ferguson tractor last night.

Small quibble: Husky was an independent brand, but was bought by or merged with New Britain I n the early 1930s. It was still operated as an independent brand name; I have tools from the '50s and '60s with Husky written proudly across the handle.

I never realized Husky went back that far. My only exposure to them is through the modern Home Depot stuff and this wrench set. Love the mountain of knowledge here.

found the cc-20 5/8 has an owners mark and about the same condition as some in the pics, scratched up. I'll dig in my other stash and see if I have the 11/16"

Found the 11/16"! Was going through a box of extra tool shoved in the back corner of a shelf and ran across it. Evidently I did have it all along.

As for the 5/8", there's one on Ebay I'm going to try to get (I'd like to not have owners marks if possible). If not I'll send you a PM rednotch and see about buying yours. Again, Thanks for taking the time to look for them.

I recently found a cc 20 5/8" in a tool lot I bought. I can send it if you are still trying to complete this set. I have a cc 18 that came with it too. Not a wrench collector so it'll be scrapped if no one wants it. Currently scrubbing the rust off cus it brings me joy.

I have those wrenches in my truck. Adequate, but the later Taiwan shiny chrome wrenches have better fit/finish.

Agreed. For a time HD would honor the Craftsman warranty offering Husky replacements which at the time were suspiciously similar.
