Found it pretty interesting, although I don't see a lot of husky boxes around myself.

I wish we could still embed videos. The review was good though. The most interesting part of it however was that Astro rivnut tool. I wanted to see more of that than the toolboxes.

Certainly a very informative review for someone in the market for one of these. They do look nearly the same until they're side by side but man the Husky is really outclassed. Even though the Yukon is not as tall technically it should have the same amount of storage in square inches.

I'm sure this isn't the first time a HF toolbox has been shown to be significantly better built than a Husky though.

Haha, I was just thinking this! It's why i had to edit the first post.

I saw Astro posted a video on their FB today:

Today must be the day it's allowed to go public.

Looks like RTL got a crappy version of the Husky. Even thoughe SKUs are the same, the model number and mfg is not.

Mine is # 7440946R, has double ball bearing slides for the bottom drawers.
Slides were rated 100 lbs vs 75 lbs on other models. It came with drawer liners. The wood top was attached. Also, was made in Vietnam vs China. :dunno:

RTR's reply in the comments:

"I looked for the earlier version online (local inventory), but the only one available when I bought these was the Husky as shown.....interestingly, the online photos & manual for it are WRONG & don't show the same box! The online pics show one similar to the Yukon, but in reality you see what I ended up wasting $300 on."

If the new Husky is what's available then it's a valid video. No sense in reviewing the new Yukon vs an old model Husky you'd be hard pressed to find anymore.

Great video. Could the 3 inch height difference really make up for the 22lb weight difference? Huskey is 206 and Yukon is 184. Yukon has extra slides, extra steel in the top support, more paint and drawer liners.

I had a Husky 42in top and bottom with loose slides tip over on me a few years ago. I always had to keep it locked because the drawers would slide open. One day I forgot and had my back turned. Three drawers on the bottom slid open. Next thing I know it's an avalanche of tools. Fortunately, there were book shelves in front of me, I was looking at when it tipped. The bookcase kept the top cabinet from landing on my head as it wedged itself. Pretty scary. Keep those slides in good condition!

Thank to those clarifying the differences between the old and new Husky 46" workbenches,

For a second there, prospective buyers were going to be mis-informed.

The old Husky (2nd generation) 46" 9 Drawer workbench is for the win. I mounted a Milwaukee 46" Box on top of it, perfect fit.

The Yukon is similarly built

Whereas the newer Husky 46" workbench is utter "****" (pardon me) :)
