Does anyone have one of these workbenches? I need something like this for my reloading room, but I want to make sure it won't be wobbly as I'll be using it for my powder scales. It's "online only", so I can't just pop into HD to check it out. I thought about making one, but by the time I buy the materials I'd be upside down vs just buying this one.

I'm a big fan of the review section of home depot's app.... generally I find the insight is good and honest.

Those are good benches. 90% as sturdy as the Gladiator line at 50% of the cost, so good value for money. All you will need to do for a reloading room is throw a few coats of poly on the top so it is impervious to oils and you are golden.

Run, do not walk to your computer and order the Husky workbench when it is on special buy. Very high quality. Better than Gladiator in my opinion. I bought the 8 foot table on sale. One of the best bargains I have ever gotten at Home Depot. the metal is all high quality thick steel. The paint is impeccable. And the butcher block top is quality wood and well finished. I could not be happier. It is extremely heavy. I like the ability to adjust the height. I adjusted mine to nearly the highest point so I could put my tool cabinets and boxes underneath. Makes for a great standing workbench in my case. No wobbling at all. I'm 350 lbs and stood on it to do some work on my ceiling. No wobble; incredibly sturdy. It assembled easily. I was able to turn it back right side up, but I am pretty strong. Most would need at least one helper to turn it upright after assembling. It does not come with casters; and Husky does not recommend them. But I bought good quality locking casters and installed them so it is movable when I need to...like now as I refinish the walls in my garage. Great table. Really.

I wish I had known about the Husky Bench prior to purchasing the bench I have.

I got that Gladiator one on sale and it is pretty heavy duty for general garage use. The Husky is fairly similar.

Thanks guys. I have all my presses mounted to a workbench already, so this one would be placed lower so I can sit on my *** and watch my scales and maybe do brass prep.

Looks really good and at a very reasonable price.

I just happen to have a lot of 3'-6' "scraps" of HSS2x2x1/4 that I had left over from a handrail project I need to put to use and I think I can build something similar.

A tube steel frame welded may a bit more stiff than bolted connections, but probably doesn't matter for light to moderate use and if you are not trying to move it across the room with a lot of heavy stuff on top.

Let us know how you like it.

Yeah, I've built two 12 foot heavy duty workbenches in my lifetime out of 2x4s, 4x4s, and plywood. both have been great benches. I just didn't have it in me to build another one at my advanced age. Needed instant gratification. My Husky bench is prettier; but probably not quite as sturdy as my home made benches. But I was still impressed with the quality for the sale price.

As a follow up, I ended up getting this 3' rolling cart instead of the workbench. The workbench was a little big for the space, and the cart gives me some more flexibility. I have 2 presses mounted to my current bench (a Costco buy from years ago) so I'm able to roll the cart next to either press to use as a work surface. The awesome part is the cart is the exact height of my current bench and is very close match with regards to aesthetics. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality for the money.

The prices on these have gone up (like everything else) in the last 3 years but they're on sale now for cyber monday. I picked up the red 6 ft table for $285 to use as a reloading bench. I bought an 8 ft black table over the summer for $375 and have been very impressed with it. Very rigid and heavy which makes for a great work surface.
