Hello, wrench-twisters - I just acquired this Husky open-end wrench, and can't find any info about it. It's model H1731, 13/16"-3/4". Is it old or recent?
I can't find an image of the particular Husky wrench style.
Any info is appreciated .
Thanks!

The line connecting H to the Y is curved on the H still but not the Y........that leads me to believe probably 50's era.

Thanks, PWC Repair - that's a detail I didn't know about.
Seems odd that there's not another image of this style, at least that I can find.
If you know of one, please send it my way.
Best regards.

Thanks, RTM - a fascinating thread with insanely knowledgable contributors.
I didn't see anything there that specifically bears on my Husky wrench, but interesting nonetheless.

Many thanks, alinc100 - there's H1731, all right. So - made in the '50s or '60s, it seems.
I've seen a lot of Husky products over the years, so I'm kinda surprised I hadn't seen one of this particular style wrench. Also surprised that nobody seems to be selling one on eBay or anywhere else at the moment.
Anyway - thanks again for sending along the answer to my question!
Best regards.

Bringing up an older thread.

Do you have any idea how old this Husky wrench is?
I checked Alloy Artifacts but I do not see this style logo with the underline only going to the H.

Someone offered to give me about 4 or 5 of them. They are a combo open end box end.

The part number only shows up in the newest catalog (1999), so I'd say not very old
