Hutch install help

My box finally showed up I got a Snap On KRL1033 with a SS top and with a hutch. Haven't unwrapped everything yet i was just wondering do i have to drill my SS top to bolt down the hutch or???... thanks.

I am stoke to get the box put to together.:thumbup:

if it was me i would try setting the hutch on top first and see if it wont move before i would start drilling i dont have a top on my box i just set the top hutch on the cab and left it like that its a 6 footer so the weight plays a role you could say , but best of luck !:thumbup:

I have a workstation riser (hutch) on one of my boxes and it is screwed to the stainless top. Does it have to be done that way, I don't know but my whole setup is pretty solid the way it is.

I can take pictures if you would like...

I've screwed my riser down into the stainless steel top as well. The riser should come with 3/8" head screws IIRC. It's not stable if you don't fasten it down somehow. I only used 2 screws on each side piece and it's fine even with a storage locker on top.

Thanks guy i ended up drilling holes and tapping the SS top and bolting it down. Love my new box lot of room.
