Has anyone had success using HVLP spray guns for spraying lacquer on cabinets. What brand have you had success with as I would use the gun for automotive spraying as well.
SATA
Accuspray
Anset Iwata
Iwata is top of the line. Sata and Accuspray are also good guns.
What is your price range?
Devilbiss and Binks are some what cheaper but still pretty good guns.
I assume by HVLP, you mean gravity fed? That is a common mistake made by many. gravity cup guns don't mean it is HVLP. HVLP guns come in many types including gravity, suction, pressure pot, and even airless.
I don't want to hijack the thread but could someone explain when gravity guns are preferred to suction guns, and vice versa? Do they do the same job, only gravity guns are newer technology?
Both do the same job and as far as spray quality goes, one is NOT better then the other.
