I've prolonged getting a nice floor jack for long enough. Might as well get it over with and buy one.

The 2 ton HWs seem to go for 370-390ish and the compac goes for 400 on asedeals. Price is basically the same, but the compac has a quick lift pedal.

Monte posted a pic of the compac in the old world thread, but does anyone actually own one?

tooltopia and asedeals have the hw for 380ish shipped.

milwaukee doesn't have much info on the net about their jack, thanks for suggesting it though.

i'm located in south MS, hiball.

Is the HW smooth on release?

also just noticed on jack-x-change that the milwaukee has a mere 70lb shipping weight, where as the hw is nearly 100... is the milwaukee really 30lbs lighter? If so...how?

I can't speak for the other but I have the OMEHW93642 and use it with great ease to jack up my 2011 Jeep GC. It is a great jack. The other one doesn't look as good but not sure why.

There Both from the Shinn Fu family, Both Walker designed but one is marketed as a Omega93642 and the other is the HW6342, Buy the Cheaper of the 2. Make sure you dont confuse a Omega jack as a Hein Werner, Omega has there own line and while they look similar at Quick glance, Stay away from anything with Quick Lift if your looking for the US designed jacks.

lmao...sorry' still lmao....Ok' I'm ready!
Just told HW service tech over the phone I was sick of tossing those junk China jacks in the trash! "Forgot they sell them too"... Then asked if he wanted to buy my p.o.s. torin? ...He declined? "He said torin was a competitor"...then we both broke out laughing....I needed too too.
I called asking whats the difference between a Hein Werner "True Blue" HWAW & OMEHW {Omega badged} was on the 93642 jacks.
He said the True Blue must be old stock since he didnt have any paper work on it? Wth?
Then blew me away saying "he was'nt familiar with any True Blue" jack?
I told him it was probably a marketing name HW used and he agreed...But WTF its written all over thier site and the net?
He said he'd been there yrs too??????? In a dark little corner maybe? lol
Then I emailed the sales dept asking the same thing. I'm annoying like that...

Heres it is with reply below:

Subject: SFA Website Inquiry
Hello'
Can you please tell me the main difference between HWAW93642 & OMEHW93642 ? Appears in the picture the HWAW has yellow front wheels and the front axle is painted were the OMEHW had blue wheels and unpainted steel front axle. Anything different between them other than paint? Why a number change?
Thank you
============== ============ =========

The HW93642 is the model number that has been in production for the last 9 years. The number was changed due to ownership of the product. The design has remained the same aside from a couple cosmetic changes like the ones you noticed.

Damn them!
I had enough problems already just trying to pick out witch brand, now I have to start all over again trying to decide something again. lol...I hate change.
Guess I'll choose it like I do my women' colors mean nothing, just grab one and pump it to see how it feels...lol

Anyone want to buy a loud *** Torin ? Hey its the pro model, says so right on it.
Sorry long post:
