Hydraulic control valve piping question

I have a new to me cub cadet with what I believe to be a p f engineering loader mounted to it. The issue I have is the loader does not want to function properly. Neither bucket or loader arms function correctly and it almost stalls the engine trying. The piping on the cylinders are correct. The hydraulic loader valve is a Vevor single lever 2 spool. No markings on any of the ports. I’ve tried to look up piping schematics and have not found any anywhere. The pic show the piping as found. The left side of the 4 in the cluster was the loader circuit and right was bucket circuit. Some piping have them fitted beside each other so I moved upper right to lower left and vice versa. Didn’t help. My question is if the piping from the pump is in either the control return or the power beyond circuit what would happen? Or do I have a p.o.s. Loader control valve? The piping schematics I’ve found seem to suggest the supply and return are switched. I can’t find any information on such a screwed up arrangement.

Red should be pressure
Blue back to tank

Green one circuit
Yellow one circuit

Orange is the relief. It could have issues, be mis adjusted or stuck open/have **** in the poppet.

Under the blue port is a plug, you can just barely make it out in the pic. This is the power beyond/open center/ closed center plug. Most of the time these type of valves come with an open center type plug from the factory and if you want the other two options you must purchase it separate. Its obvious that its not a power beyond sleeve, but is it possibly a wrong closed center plug? Although that would probably destroy the pump or make it squall like hell

Thanks. Red is return as we speak and blue is from the pump. I will switch them tomorrow after work. Pump doesn’t have any issues until you try to move something. I shall let you know what happens after I move the piping.

IT LIVES!! After replacing the busted line I switched the pump in and return hoses and it’s working now!! Who hoo!! Just need to change the locations on the loader up and down to get it to operate it what would be a normal action. It makes sense that the pump in would be same side as the relief valve. Thanks for the help. 👍👍

Glad to of helped!

I have a soft spot for cub cadets as well. Growing up my dad would purchase half a dozen a year and over the winter we would rebuild the engines, fix whatever else on the tractor and sell them out front in the spring.
