Hydraulic Cylinder repacking Should i DIY or Pay a Pro

So i want to repack my 2 post lift cylinders while im cleaning it up before the install. Never done it before, starting to research any helpful tips or thoughts?

its a circa 1995 Forward DP09A

If they are like backhoe cylinders, easy as pie. I was a little nervous the first time, but there really is nothing to them.

It all depends on the style of cylinder and you level of comfort messing with them,IMO...Ive done them for 3 auto shops around my work. Some where no big deal at all , but one was a bit more of a PITA as the real issue was the gland had worn oval from the weight on it pushing the rod sideways....we had to get creative in that one.

currently they dont appear to leak or have any issues just thinking about preventative maintenance since i have it all disassembled on the floor to clean the nastiness from the dirty shop it came out of.
