I am wondering if anyone has had a chance to try the new hydraulic flaring tool from Harbor Freight? I am wondering how it compares to the Mastercool flaring tool?
I received an email today with a 20% off coupon and a list of new tools they are now selling. One of the new tools is a hydraulic flare tool kit. It looks pretty good but I am wondering if the overall quality is at least as good as the Mastercool kit, and if the dies grip the tubing good enough to get a decent flare?
As of right now, according to the numbers I can find, the new flaring tool from HF is only $6 bucks cheaper than the Mastercool. However, with the 20% off coupon I received it might be worth trying the HF version?
