Hydraulic Floor Jack Wheel Needed

I have a Sears model 50143 hydraulic floor jack. A while back one of the front wheels broke. I replaced the jack with a low profile Harbor Freight unit that I am very happy with. Rather that throw away the old Sears jack, I was hoping to simply replace the broken wheel, but I am having difficulty finding a replacement.

The wheel is all metal, 3 inches diameter, 1.5 inches wide, axle hole is 0.8 inches, and the hub width is 0.5 inches. The hub is offset all the way to one side of the wheel. It has no bearings, just rides on a solid front axle.

I checked with Sears Parts Direct and wasted 30 minutes of my life on a chat session with them. I also searched for alternative suppliers with no luck.

Does anyone have any other ideas where I can find a replacement? If I can get one for a reasonable price, I will keep this jack as a spare. It's always good to have an extra.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Watch for discards at the curb or make one (or two) They are just a length of pipe with a hub....similar to this.

Go to Lazzar's site, they should have something there. I found an old USA jack recently in a scrape heap, the front wheels were very rusty. I used wheels from a import jack, they fit good after a little shaving. It wasn't a big deal.

Sluggo,

I just looked at the model number and realized I have the same jack that you are asking about. It failed recently and I am replacing it with another. If you want the wheels from it, please PM me with your address and I will send them out to you.
